The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) is the organization that issues a document called the Family Registration Certificate (FRC). This certificate shows information about your family members after NADRA checks their records.
What is the Family Registration Certificate (FRC)?
The Family Registration Certificate (FRC) is a document that provides details about your family. It is given by NADRA after they have verified your and your family members’ information. There are three main types of FRCs:
- By Birth – This certificate lists your family members, including your parents and siblings. It is used to show the family you were born into.
- By Marriage – This certificate lists your family, including your spouse and children. It is used to show the family you have formed through marriage.
- By Adoption – This certificate lists your family, including your guardian if you were adopted. It is used to show the family that has adopted you.
Who Can Get an FRC?
To get an FRC, you need to be registered with NADRA and have a 13-digit ID number. If you do not have this ID number, your information will not be included in the FRC.
